The Shiraz is predominantly Shiraz with a little Viognier added to provide aromatic lift to the wine.  A classic cool climate Shiraz. This medium to full bodied wine is made from Shiraz grapes that have been blended with a small proportion of Viognier to provide aromatic lift.Colour: Brick red with maroon hues. Nose: Highly aromatic with plums and black pepper that leap from the glass. Palate: Mouth filling, plums and red fruits are perfectly complemented by pepper and spice with hints of licorice. Finishes with smooth chalky tannins and a delightful lingering finish. Serving suggestions: A wine like this handles more robust dishes such as roast beef, lamb or pork. It is a perfect match to a big juicy steak or game meats such as kangaroo or venison. It is well suited to richly flavoured casseroles or to washing down a pizza after a long day.
